Inside the serene Tribeca loft of fashion influencer Danielle Bernstein
The expansive, open-plan living area, with its ‘faux place’ (designed by Corvino and created by Gail Cipriano Design Studios to conceal Bernstein’s television) is the public space where Bernstein likes to “entertain, share and unwind”. Featuring limewash painted walls and ceiling by Lucas Willing Studios, landing on the colour was no simple process. “The paint is a mixture of two colours—after many samples—and took weeks to complete,” recalls Bernstein.

One wall in the apartment is a master of illusion. It features a custom built faux fireplace and bench, by Gail Cipriano Designs, and a work of art on linen by Kit King, which doubles as a cover for the room’s television. The 1930s Persian kilim rug is from Rug & Kilim. The Fantasma Piccolo floor lamp is by Tobia Scarpa and was purchased from Espace Moderne. Cube tables from The Antique and Artisan Gallery, acquired through 1stdibs, were also incorporated into the space. Of additional note: A vessel from Broyt, Christina Schou Christensen’s Experimental Pieces from Dienst + Dotter Antikviteter, and a Evamarie Pappas lamp sourced through Objet LA/NY.
